February meeting accomplished a lot, but with SWAT and year end celebrations quickly approaching there’s a call to action to close out strong.

Fundraising: Monthly Dine to Donate Night was started back up by Jenn. March 1st was at Fresh Mex on Keystone at I-80and TBD April 6th at Q DOBA in Spanish Springs.
Scholastic Book Fair Spring March 8th – 12th. We’ll be doing a coin collection to qualify for more books. Teachers’ Raffle Basket is in progress with proceeds earmarked for Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony expenditures. SWAT kick off dinner is quickly approaching tentatively set for Thursday, April 8th at the high school. We’ll need to start getting prize donations and solicitations going out in the community. Will contact Jenn, Janice, and Deb. Spaghetti out and considering luau theme with teriyaki chicken. T Shirts have been ordered and are being printed as these notes come to you.
We will be sending info out shortly on Excel’s account through Scolari’s Friendship Fund so we can get a percentage from those purchases made by folks that shop there.
Spring field trips will include April 22nd to Disney Ocean movie and possibly a Donner Party Park and Wild Island fun day.
Computer Lab is up and operational. Thank you Heather for clean out/set up. Check with her for additional needs such as power strips, cords, and folding chairs.
Ski Program in place with drivers’ schedule.
Jeanne attended Fund-Raising Luncheon and will share materials with Gina Development Director for next year’s.
Kindergarten Graduation plans underway since we have a large, wonderful class this year under Ms. Harper’s tutelage. We’re looking to order gowns, caps, tassles to keep, pictures, videos for purchase and send special invitations to the graduates’ families/friends with the kids singing songs for the program as well. Date TBA.
