Our November meeting was most wonderful with new faces and parents helping coordinate areas old and new.   

Thursday, Jan. 21^st 3:15 in Mrs. Davis’ classroom will be our next meeting as December’s date is the Christmas Program. Leaders will work ongoing and communicate regarding the ski program and restaurant fund-raiser launching in January. 

Fundraising: $20 Coupon Books will be coming out shortly for Christmas sales opportunities. Robb agreed to contact local restaurants who will donate 15-20% for a Monthly Dine to Donate Nightstarting in January.  Scholastic Book Fair Springdate set for week of March 8^th. Mystery Dinner and Teachers’ Raffle Basket spring TBA.

Mrs. Krupa:  Sparks Movie Theater Advertising promoting Excel Christian School before family movies will start Thanksgiving Week so be sure to yell “That’s my school!” when it appears. She’ll get a copy for students/teachers to view and then will make available to area churches as well. Spread the word that mid-year enrollment of new students is available. Elementary School will proceed with T Shirt and Sweat Shirt sales same as last year. UNITED HEALTHCARE Insurance is now available through our national Christian School Association. Delay in School Pictures was addressed with parents concerned to receive photos by Thanksgiving to share with families.   

Veterans Week Displaywith family contributions was awesome with extra TLC put into preparations. Operation Postcard sending messages of support to our troops overseas was in process at the time of our meeting.    

Participation by the school in the Mt. Rose Ski Program is under evaluation by Charity with an additional proposal just in through Tahoe Donner. Parents experienced with both gave feedback to pass along. Internet Safety Month planning underway for April. Deb agreed to oversee little thank you’s and niceties for the teachers as part of a new Attitude of Gratitude Program.
