PTF Meeting Notes September

 ParentTeacherFellowship 
Our first meeting launched a great new school year with many new faces coming alongside our returning teachers. We’ll have an updated parent list shortly. I encourage your involvement and feedback as your new President.
Thursday, Oct. 15th 3:15 in Mrs. Davis’ classroom is our next meeting so those with busy Tuesdays can come. 
Volunteering   Mark your calendars now and let us know by returning the fliers that come home for sign up:        
9/30th Picture Day (primpers, helpers), 
10/1st Innisbrook Assembly at High School (Drivers will need to bring license and proof of insurance to photocopy on 1st event). 
10/12th – 10/16th Scholastic Book Fair (set up/tear down, before and after school sales for an hour or so)  
10/26th Pumpkin Patch (drivers)                               
11/5th Carson City (drivers). 
Monday Fence Setter Uppers - See Mrs. Davis.                          
Friday Fence Taker Downers - See Mrs. Davis.     
10/31st Harvest Carnival Costume Contest (Arrange for 3-6 big prizes and/or work the Carnival. Contact me directly if interested). 
Log your volunteer time in the logbook in the office upstairs or at www.excelchristianschool.com.
Kudos to Robb Reed for agreeing to coordinate our 2nd Annual Innisbrook Fund-Raiser. (Talk up the orders for holiday wrap, yummies and goodies in your family and friends group now). 
Thank You to all that made our September Hoe-Down with the High School such a huge success. What fun to mix n mingle and grow as family with values education. Watch for T Shirt/Sweatshirt Sales so we can all share that Excel spirit.
Ideas were shared from new parent contacts including a field trip to Safari Zoo and a Medieval Costume Sword Demo.
Teacher Harper encouraged all to start putting together pictures and memorabilia for their family’s contribution to this year’sVeterans Week Display.
Blessings Needed:  
sturdy board and picture books for kindergarten
computers/supplies for dream lab,                               
high quality pictures for yearbook/website.
